Through blood and fire, through storm and strain,
our love stood firm, untouched by pain.
Through seasons harsh and skies unclear,
it flourished still, year after year.
You are my queen, forever crowned,
in grace unmatched, in love profound.
Beyond all reason, beyond all time,
a sacred truth, your heart is mine.
Each day I wake, I stand in awe,
that I am yours by heaven’s law.
To call you wife, to call you home,
no greater gift have I been shown.
As Christ loves us, His spotless bride,
so shall I love you, deep and wide.
For as a man loves his own life,
so must he cherish, adore his wife.
In loving you, my soul’s aligned,
a holy act, both pure, refined.
Not ritual bound nor man made line,
but sacred truth that you are mine.
