It is hard to stay silent when you know you were hurt.
A part of you wants to explain everything. Defend yourself. Prove who was right and who caused the pain.
That is why this message reposted by Jelai Andres hits differently, “Kapag Diyos na ang nagsabing, ‘Maghintay ka, ako ang gaganti para sa iyo.’ Wala na akong kailangang gawin kundi magtiwala.”
One of the hardest forms of faith is choosing not to fight back even when you could because you decided to give God a battle you no longer need to exhaust yourself trying to win.
Romans 12:19 says, “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord.”
There are things you do not have to chase just to make them right. There are people you do not have to force to understand your side.
God saw what happened. He knows what you endured.
And when you have already done what is right, sometimes the next act of faith is simply to wait, trust, and let God handle what you can no longer fix.
