Sometimes accidents happen and sometimes when these accidents happen they actually reveal something that was there all along. In this case the “U” of HUITS fell off, revealing not only that we need to paint our wall again😅, but also what we are doing here: making HITS!
So, for all our new customers who are trying to find us, search for HITS and maybe in a few weeks we’ll return it back to HUITS again.

I don’t usually hug people/characters in public on stage, but for Kumamon I am happy to make an exception.
Yes, I love Kumamoto and I love Kumamon. But Kumamon stands for so much more. Over the years we have worked together, making light of otherwise serious meetings between governors and ambassadors, promoting Kumamoto, simply entertaining people, but most of all bringing people from all over the world together and promoting international peace and friendship.
And I’m sad to say that this past Sunday was the final edition of the International Friendship Festival that I have co-hosted for many years together with the ever so lovely Sakai Yoko (second photo) and Kumamon.
Of course, this will by no means be the end of my ambition to spread love, peace and international understanding and friendships. What better vehicle to do this with than EirFoyl where each of our band members literally comes from a different country. And so it only made sense that EirFoyl played live during this last rendition of the International Friendship Festival. We will try to take over the baton and are looking for people or companies that might be interested in sponsoring our upcoming events in which we will continue to promote internationalization through mutual understanding and friendships. For everyone interested in mingling with foreigners or trying out their English skills: come and join us on this day! (It might be the final International Friendship Festival???)
So, come hang out with us. Edwin Huits (HUITS, LLC. / HUITS 英会話) will be co-hosting the event as per usual and there will be plenty of other foreigners to communicate with.

熊本県国際協会が主催する第30回熊本国際交流祭典が11月2日(日)にサンロード新市街で開催されます。入場無料です。

この祭典は、国際交流・国際協力を行っている熊本県内の民間団体等の日頃の活動を県民の皆様に広く知っていいただくことを目的としています。

EirFoylのライブ以外はアイルランドの伝統音楽(アイリッシュ・クリーム with キョールトリ)や台湾伝統オペラなどのステージ披露、珍しい外国の小物やお買得日用品に出会えるバザー、会員団体の国際交流・国際協力のパネル展示、世界各国民族衣装の試着、着物各種体験コーナー、フェイスペインティング、アメリカの遊びコーンホール、くまモンステージなど、楽しくわかりやすいコンテンツを用意し、国籍や出身を問わず、県内在住の皆様の力を借りて、熊本の地域活性化、多文化共生のまちづくりを目指します。

and are some of the finest musicians you’ll ever meet.
, … both great guitarists in their own right with soul, emotion, passion, a style of their own and that delicate touch that makes your heart cry. But then there is Hirosato Ito! What a guitarist and what a legend!!! And it is such a great honor that I get to work with him this much. My mouth is on the floor when I watch his fingers fly over the frets and I can’t suppress that smile that comes naturally when music is that good.
And then there is Yurina Hamano… what a voice!!!
She goes lower than I’ve heard most men sing. might be the only exception to that. And she goes higher than Mariah Carey on a good day.
But what’s really impressive is her emotional delivery. Her voice pierces your body and it is impossible not to get goosebumps, cry or get some other emotional reaction when Yurina sings.
And Melodyne or Autotune couldn’t make her voice better. I think 99% of people who call themselves singers these days should learn something from this.
The world really needs this now and therefore I am happy, thankful, proud and honored to continue my work for and with Yurina and Hirosato as their manager.
This year’s European tour was a great success. We made some unbelievable steps forward. In some venues we had a 1,000% increase in attendance over last year and we are already talking to concert halls to ensure next year’s tour will be even better yet again.

Thank you to everyone who made this happen, believed in us and supported us from the very beginning.
