Miracles do happen 🌌✨
Never have I ever imagined that I would be able to witness such a spectacle in the Netherlands.
On January 19th I received a notification stating the Northern Lights were visible in middle latitudes. I was not at home and being familiar with how quick you need to be for these events I knew I had to go out and make the most out of my phone's camera.
The skies were filled with colors and red was even visible to the eye, something which is not common at all. My family was in awe, they had never seen northern lights and always wanted to. To our surprise, green dancing lights were appearing above us in the sky. I honestly could not believe what I was witnessing. Never in a million years I imagined that dancing green aurora could be seen with such clarity in this country.
And with this indescribable event I am finally breaking with my perfectionism on my Instagram profile; something that I've wanted to do for the longest time but never had the guts to do.
2026 is the year I finally let go of everything that I am not, and embrace with love, care and understanding everything that I am and will be.
The Northern lights have been one of my passions for as long as I can remember and maybe it was their energy or maybe it was always in me, but today I am finally letting some things go and embracing what's to come.
The night of January 19th 2026 will always remain in my memory.
