IDK Photography was created to showcase some of the most beautiful pictures taken all over the world by Us. Although if you feel you have what it takes to have your photos featured on IDK Photography here's what you need to do.

1: Take a photo of you with a camera phone holding a piece of paper or card that clearly say's "I Love IDK Photography."

IDK Photography Tips:

00: Never go to a photo shoot of someone you have never met before alone, always leave a phone number of where you are going with someone else and be sure to bring a friend with you to the shoot.

01: Get yourself a camera that takes HD Photos (and has a timer). You can get a decent camera for cheap from any camera store or ebay. Take as many photo's of yourself or anything good and beautiful that you can, either by getting a friend to take the photos or using the timer function on the camera. This will get you used to using and being in front of the camera and will help to make your work more relaxed as in the life of any successful photographer or model being in front of the camera is what you need to get used to.

03: Experiment with Make Up or editing. Youtube has lots of videos by make up artists and professionals who have uploaded tutorials for different styles of make up and taking photos and the application etc. Use your computer to type in "make up tutorials" on you tube, follow these tutorials and learn how to do your own make up or editing of photos;

04: Learn How To Edit Your Own Photo's. if you have Photoshop or Gimp installed on your computer, you need to learn how to use it, if you don't then here's what you do. If you don't have photoshop, don't worry you can download a free version of Gimp from this link or send the photo to our email and we shall edit it. There's nothing worse than getting your photo's and thinking "That's too bright" or "That's too dark etc" but having no way of changing the photo yourself. Do the same thing you did for the make up tutorials or editing tutorials go to youtube and type "Gimp Tutorial or Photoshop Tutorial" into youtube, learn how to use one of these programs to edit your photos, you can also do photography tutorials on youtube. You must remember, the more you learn about the processes of being a model or photographer, the more skills you will have. take as many photo's as possible, even if the photo's are not of yourself, in this internet era the model must also be a decent photographer.

I recently went on a solo staycation at to break my routine.
It was so invigorating and refreshing.
I woke up to views of the city and greenery around me. I got to clear my mind and review my life goals. Such a quiet space to slow down your busy life. It was a bliss💫

I cringe every time I’m watching a movie and see people in crowded places without masks. Or when someone leaves the house without a mask. I’m like “YOUR MASK, your mask Carrie Mathison! Dammit”⠀⠀ ⠀
Then I realize it’s just a movie that was recorded over 4 years ago. Corona has really screwed up my mind. But we move regardless 😌 ⠀⠀⠀

I haven’t posted or shot for a while now and that has somehow made me read more than I used to. I got this book, mindset, by about two months ago and I am flipping page 131 now 😬
Mindset has completely changed my worldview. I had to unlearn, learn and relearn a lot of things.
The book mainly talks about two distinct mindsets: growth and fixed.
So far the four things that have stuck with me:
1. A company/someone that cannot self-correct cannot thrive.
2. People with a growth mindset value the process and have a desire to learn. Fixed mindsets desire to look smart and only believe in inborn talent (you can’t learn how to do something if you’re not gifted in it )
3. You can learn anything from scratch and be great in it. (Be an expert but have a beginner’s mind)
4. You have to work the hardest for the things you love most.
5. There is more joy in becoming than being, because you are constantly learning and improving yourself in the process.

We went for a staycation at over the weekend. The environment was serene and it had endless breathtaking views. They had a bonfire and barbecue set up for us. The rooftop was my chill spot. Perfect spot to unwind.
The place had a few shortcomings...there were times the taps ran dry. However they fixed it promptly.

The rates were kshs.18,000 for 2 nights and 3 days. The house can accommodate 8 people. So that was affordable 😊

I used to travel a lot when I was younger and it always filled my heart. I took a break from that life when adulting creeped in.
HOWEVER, I’m back now!
I’ve never been happier. Exploring new places brightens up my life. It fills me. I believe I’ve found my purpose.
