If you’ve ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes before a project goes live… this was our world for the past few months. 👀
My team and I have been shooting and editing the journey to the launch of “From Margins to Metrics” with Haki Data Lab & Data 4 Change.
From radio stations to Dandora dumpsite, printing presses to late-night edits—every step was about bringing these stories and data to life.
Some BTS moments:
• Filming Stevo & Cricket live on GhettoRadio 89.5 FM, sharing insights + performing a data-driven poem from 1,000+ surveys
• Documenting field visits in Dandora with the data researchers
• Capturing the creation of data-driven wearables—stickers, lesos & reflector vests
• Long nights in the edit working on PSA-style videos for matatus & social media 📹
• Shooting the rollout of the new Haki Data Lab website 📱
• And the final push—prepping for a 100+ people launch event
A lot of moving parts, a lot of late nights—but this is what it takes to bring something like this to life.
