THIS IS THE WILD CITY. 🦁🌅
Where lions walk through golden morning light, climb signposts, and roam with Nairobi’s skyline rising behind them.
Where black rhinos raise their young, leopards move through ancient corridors, cheetahs hunt, and hundreds of species still find space to survive.
This is what makes Nairobi National Park extraordinary.
And it’s why these moments cannot be taken for granted.
I think of the Kingfisher pride. A year ago, four cubs struggled to survive. Four died. Four remained.
Today, those four are strong, healthy sub-adults.
That is what a protected wild space can give them: a chance.
A chance to survive.
A chance to grow.
A chance to become the next generation.
Nairobi National Park is not simply a park with wildlife.
It is a living wilderness on the doorstep of one of Africa’s greatest cities.
We must protect it—not just for the lions, rhinos and leopards, but for everything that calls it home.
And for the generations who deserve to experience this magic too.
This is our wild city.
Let’s love it. Respect it. Defend it.
Save Nairobi National Park. 🖤
