ប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត ជាប្រាសាទដ៏អស្ចារ្យមួយក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ដែលសាងសង់ដោយព្រះបាទសូរ្យវរ្ម័នទី២ ក្នុងសតវត្សទី១២។ វាត្រូវបានចាត់ទុកថាជាសំណង់សាសនាដ៏ធំបំផុតនៅក្នុងពិភពលោក ដែលគ្របដណ្តប់លើផ្ទៃដីប្រហែល 400 ហិចតា។ វាក៏ជាសម្បត្តិបេតិកភណ្ឌពិភពលោករបស់អង្គការយូណេស្កូ និងជានិមិត្តរូបនៃអរិយធម៌ និងវប្បធម៌ខ្មែរផងដែរ។
ប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្តពីដើមត្រូវបានសាងសង់ជាប្រាសាទហិណ្ឌូឧទ្ទិសដល់ព្រះវិស្ណុ ប៉ុន្តែក្រោយមកបានក្លាយជាប្រាសាទពុទ្ធសាសនា។ វាត្រូវបានរចនាឡើងដើម្បីតំណាងឱ្យភ្នំព្រះសុមេរុ ដែលជាភ្នំទេវកថា ដែលជាចំណុចកណ្តាលនៃចក្រវាឡក្នុងព្រហ្មញ្ញសាសនា និងពុទ្ធសាសនា។ ប្រាសាទនេះមានប៉មចំនួនប្រាំដែលបង្កើតជា quincunx វិចិត្រសាលរាងចតុកោណដែលព័ទ្ធជុំវិញទីសក្ការៈកណ្តាល និងគូទឹកដែលព័ទ្ធជុំវិញបរិវេណទាំងមូល។ ជញ្ជាំងនៃប្រាសាទត្រូវបានតុបតែងលម្អដោយចម្លាក់ថ្មប៉ប្រះទឹក និងចម្លាក់ដ៏ប្រណិតដែលបង្ហាញពីទិដ្ឋភាពពីវីរភាពហិណ្ឌូ ដូចជារឿងរាមាយណៈ និងមហាភារតៈ ព្រមទាំងព្រឹត្តិការណ៍ប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រ និងជីវិតប្រចាំថ្ងៃរបស់ប្រជាជនខ្មែរ។
ប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្តជាកន្លែងទេសចរណ៍ដែលមានអ្នកទស្សនាច្រើនជាងគេបំផុតក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា ហើយក៏ជាប្រភពនៃមោទនភាពជាតិ និងអត្តសញ្ញាណផងដែរ។ ក៏ជាទីកន្លែងសក្ការៈបូជា និងធម្មយាត្រារបស់ពុទ្ធសាសនិកមកពីជុំវិញពិភពលោកផងដែរ។ ប្រាសាទអង្គរវត្ត គឺជាស្នាដៃស្ថាបត្យកម្ម សិល្បៈ និងវិញ្ញាណ ដែលឆ្លុះបញ្ចាំងពីភាពរុងរឿង និងប្រាជ្ញានៃអរិយធម៌ខ្មែរបុរាណ។

Angkor Wat is a magnificent temple complex in Cambodia, built by the Khmer King Suryavarman II in the 12th century. It is considered as the largest religious structure in the world, covering some 400 acres of land. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a symbol of the Khmer civilization and culture.
Angkor Wat was originally constructed as a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Vishnu, but later became a Buddhist temple. It is designed to represent Mount Meru, the mythical mountain that is the center of the universe in Hindu and Buddhist cosmology. The temple has five towers that form a quincunx, a rectangular gallery that surrounds the central sanctuary, and a moat that encloses the entire complex. The walls of the temple are decorated with exquisite bas-reliefs and sculptures depicting scenes from Hindu epics, such as the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, as well as historical events and everyday life of the Khmer people.
Angkor Wat is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Cambodia, and a source of national pride and identity. It is also a place of worship and pilgrimage for Buddhists from all over the world.
