කුඹල්වෙල මහමෙව්නාව භාවනා අසපුව ඇල්ල පුරවරයේ කුඹල්වෙල, මුහුදු මට්ටමේ සිට මීටර් 1300 ක් පමණ ඉහළ කඳු මුදුනක පිහිටා ඇත. ශ්‍රී සත්බුදු මහා සෑ විහාරය ලෙසද හදුන්වන මෙම අසපුව වර්ෂ 2007 දී කිරිබත්ගොඩ ඤාණානන්ද හිමියන්ගේ මඟපෙන්වීම යටතේ මහමෙව්නාව භාවනා අසපු සංචිතයේ තවත් එක් ශාඛාවක් ලෙස ඇරඹුණු අක්කර 48 ක් පුරා පැතිරුණු මේ අසපුවේ වැඩ නිම වන්නේ වර්ෂ 2024 අගෝස්තු මස දීය.

The Mahamevnawa Meditation Monastery in Kumbalwela is located on a hilltop about 1300 meters above sea level in Kumbalwela, Ella. Also known as the Sri Satbudu Maha Seya Viharaya, this monastery was started in 2007 under the guidance of Venerable Kiribathgoda Gnanananda Thero as another branch of the Mahamevnawa Meditation Monastery complex. The monastery, spread over 48 acres, is scheduled to be completed in August 2024.

Gokanna Rajamaha Viharaya is an ancient Buddhist temple located within the Fort Fredrick premises in Trincomalee, Eastern Sri Lanka. Originally built by King Mahasen in the 3rd century on the Swami Rock promontory, it was later destroyed by the Portuguese in the 16th century, and is currently located near the fort entrance.Situated within Fort Frederick in Trincomalee, near the entrance, roughly 3.7 km from Trincomalee town. Known as one of the ancient Buddhist sites in the region, traditionally linked to King Mahasen, though the original structure on top of the rock was destroyed by the Portuguese in the 16th century.The current, restored shrine and stupa are located near the fort entrance. The site offers a peaceful atmosphere and a scenic view of the area.The temple is situated in the same vicinity as the famous Hindu temple, Thirukoneswaram Kovil.🌅🏞️🌸
