A Fathers Love Never Ages
තාත්තා වයසට ගියේ නැහැ….. අපි ලොකු උනා විතරයි!
මේ වීඩියෝව script එක ලියනකොට... ඒක තවත් එක තිර රචනයක් විතරක් වුණේ නැහැ.
මම මේ කතාවේ තාත්තාගේ චරිතය රඟපාද්දී, මට මගේම තාත්තාව මතක් වුණා. ඒ වචන කියද්දී... අපි හැමෝම හිතනවා...
තාත්තා හැමදාම ඉඳීවි කියලා.
අපි ලොකු වෙනකම්,
අපේ දරුවෝ ලොකු වෙනකම්,
තව ටිකක් කල් තියෙනවා කියලා.
හැබැයි...
දවසක් එනවා.
අපිට කතා කරන්න ඕන වෙන දවසක්.
අපිට වැළඳගන්න ඕන වෙන දවසක්.
අපිට "තාත්තේ, මං ඔයාට ආදරෙයි" කියන්න ඕන වෙන දවසක්.
ඒත්...
එදාට ඔවුන් ඉන්නවා කියලා කවුරුත් පොරොන්දු වෙන්නේ නැහැ.
මේ වීඩියෝව මගේ තාත්තාටත්,
ඔබේ තාත්තාටත්,
තවමත් දරුවන් වෙනුවෙන් නිහඬව ආදරේ කරන හැම තාත්තෙකුටම කරන උපහාරයක්.
අද ඔබේ තාත්තා ජීවතුන් අතර ඉන්නවා නම්...ඔහුට කතා කරන්න.
ඔහුව වැළඳගන්න.
"තාත්තේ, මං ඔයාට ආදරෙයි" කියන්න.

A Father's Love Never Ages
Dad never grew old... we just grew up.
While writing the script for this video, it became much more than just another screenplay.
As I stepped into the role of the father in this story, I found myself thinking about my own father.
And as I spoke those words, I realized something many of us do...
We assume our fathers will always be there.
Until we grow up.
Until our own children grow up.
Until we have a little more time.
But then...
One day comes.
The day we want to call them.
The day we want to sit beside them.
The day we want to hug them.
The day we want to say,
"Dad, I love you."
And yet...
No one can promise they will still be there when that day arrives.
This video is a tribute to my father.
To your father.
And to every father who loved quietly, sacrificed endlessly, and gave everything for their children without asking for anything in return.
If your father is still with you today...
Call him.
Spend time with him.
Hold him close.
Tell him,
"Dad, I love you."
Because...
A father's love never ages.
Dad never grew old...
We just grew up. ❤️
