One of the highlights during the Ténéré Spirit • Travel Trophy this year was the Željava Air Base, situated on the border between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina under the Gola Plješevica mountain, near the city of Bihać. Personally, it was my second visit there after 2023 and I am still impressed by the site, the airfield and the abandoned airplane.

Here are a few impressions from the Ténéré Spirit • Travel Trophy . Everything’s going well, the atmosphere is great, though the weather is very changeable: the temperature fluctuates from day to day – one day it’s 14, then a sunny 28, the next day 14, then 29, with occasional storms and heavy rain. A real adventure. The gear from Lone Rider does a great job 👍🏻

🇬🇧 Day 3 on my way to Slovenia for the Ténéré Spirit • Travel Trophy 2026. A first for me: the T7 on a train for a few kms 😄 Quite some rain 🌧️ for a few hours through southern Germany 🇩🇪 and Austria 🇦🇹. Although it was cold and not very pleasant, I could rely on the water-repellent visor from LYSION - Protect yourself ! for perfect visibility and the waterproof gear from Lone Rider 👍🏻 Also quite happy with my clothes and SIDI Ta**us GTX boots.

🇫🇷 Jour 3 : en route vers la Slovénie pour le Ténéré Spirit • Travel Trophy 2026. Une première pour moi : la T7 dans un train sur quelques kilomètres 😄 Il a pas mal plu 🌧️ pendant quelques heures à travers le sud de l’Allemagne 🇩🇪 et l’Autriche 🇦🇹. Même s’il faisait froid et que ce n’était pas très agréable, j’ai pu compter sur ma visière de LYSION - Protect yourself ! (déperlant permanent) pour une visibilité parfaite et sur l’équipement étanche de Lone Rider 👍🏻. Je suis également très satisfait de mes vêtements et de mes bottes SIDI Ta**us GTX.
