Echoes of grandeur.
Another beautiful building fighting to survive the passing of time.
The South Hall of the Cinquantenaire, designed by Gédéon Bordiau, rises between the trees like a monument to another era.
Stone, iron and glass come together in a structure created with extraordinary ambition.
Its immense curved façade still carries the elegance and confidence of the age that shaped it.
From a distance, it appears almost untouched.
Proud.
Imposing.
Timeless.
But as you move closer, the marks of time slowly begin to reveal themselves.
The weathered stone.
The ageing details.
The quiet signs of a building that needs constant attention to preserve its grandeur.
This is what makes exploring Brussels so fascinating.
You walk through a modern European capital, yet around almost every corner, the architecture pulls you back into another century.
Each discovery feels like opening another chapter of the city’s history.
Beautiful, impressive, but also increasingly fragile.
The South Hall is still standing proudly.
Still capturing the light.
Still reminding us of what Brussels once dared to build.
Another architectural treasure waiting not only to be admired, but to be protected.:Explore the World: Belgium:.

Perfect scenery. Perfect moment.
It is a little easier to come home with something special when Iceland already gives you so much to work with.
You arrive somewhere new, look around, and instead of wondering how to make the place interesting, you are trying to decide which direction to point the camera first.
That helps.
A lot.
Then add one of our four-legged fireballs into the mix, and things get even better.
They bring the energy.
The character.
The expressions.
And usually their own ideas about how the session should go.
So yes, it becomes a little easier.
Not effortless, of course.
There is still the walking, the waiting, the changing weather, the missed moments and the occasional “please just look this way for two seconds.”
But that is exactly what makes it fun.
You chase the light.
You follow the dog.
You trust the place.
And somehow, more often than not, Iceland gives you a little magic in return.

The Forgotten Maintenance Workshop :. 06
And with this final frame, the first series comes to an end.
Every image was taken from the outside.
No wandering through the halls.
No footsteps echoing inside.
Just searching for angles, openings, reflections and small glimpses into a place that refused to give up all of its secrets.
And that became part of the adventure.
Moving around the building.
Looking through windows.
Finding narrow perspectives between walls, doors and old structures.
Trying to build a story without ever crossing the threshold.
This last view felt like the right way to finish.
A final look into the dark industrial maze beyond.
Rails disappearing into shadow.
Columns repeating into the distance.
Small traces of colour breaking through the decay.
Sometimes exploration is not about getting inside.
Sometimes it is about working with the limits, finding the shot anyway, and letting the inaccessible parts keep a little of their mystery.
For now, this is where the first chapter ends.
Outside.
Looking in.
And still wondering what lies beyond.

Playful temptation
Sensuality does not always need darkness, mystery, or a provocative pose.
Sometimes it arrives with a smile.
In the confidence of a woman completely at ease.
In bare skin suggested rather than revealed.
And in a gaze that knows exactly what it is doing.
Soft, playful, and irresistibly sensual.
Because sometimes the most seductive thing a woman can wear is her confidence.

Let the night ignite.
Once the sun disappears, the Schueberfouer becomes a completely different world.
Thousands of lights cut through the darkness.
Rides spin, towers climb into the night, music drifts through the crowd, and somewhere in the middle of it all, another adventure is waiting.
For a photographer, this is exactly the kind of place where curiosity takes over.
You follow the lights.
You search for new angles.
You wait for that brief moment when movement, colour and chaos somehow fall perfectly into place.
And sometimes, the best view means going a little higher, leaving the noise below and seeing the entire fairground unfold like one enormous playground.
Every ride offers another perspective.
Every corner hides another frame.
And every visit gives you another reason to keep exploring.
One fairground.
Endless possibilities.

Old stones, quiet stories.
The Church of Saint Lambert of Laeken seems to reflect Brussels itself.
A city filled with architectural wonders.
Grand façades.
Intricate details.
Buildings shaped by another era, still standing proudly along the streets of the modern city.
But behind that beauty, another story slowly reveals itself.
Time has left its marks.
Walls are fading.
Nature is finding its way through windows and stone.
And some of these remarkable buildings appear to have been left alone to face the passing years.
It is difficult to understand how places created with such vision and craftsmanship can be allowed to decay simply because the financial means to preserve them are missing.
That contrast makes exploring Brussels both fascinating and painful.
Every street reveals another piece of history, but also another reminder that history does not survive on beauty alone.
It needs attention.
It needs protection.
And above all, it needs people who still believe it is worth saving.
Brussels remains magnificent.
But behind its weathered walls, the city is shouting not to be left to decay.:Explore the World: Belgium:.

Some images become more than photographs.

This one has followed me all the way from the black sands of Iceland to SWISSARTEXPO 2026.
“1973 ended the flight. Iceland kept the story.”
Standing in front of this wreck, surrounded by nothing but black sand, wind and a sky that seemed to belong to another world, I knew I wanted to capture more than the remains of an aircraft.
I wanted to capture the feeling of a story that had ended decades ago, yet somehow never disappeared.
And now this image has been selected to be part of SWISSARTEXPO in Zurich.
I’m incredibly proud and grateful to see one of my Icelandic adventures taking this next step and finding its place among the work of so many talented artists.
A huge thank you to the SWISSARTEXPO team for the selection and the opportunity.
From Iceland to Zurich.
The journey continues. 🇮🇸🇨🇭📸

Luxembourg is glowing again.
Finally, the lights are on at the Schueberfouer.
The rides are moving.
The music is playing.
The colours are glowing.
And Luxembourg’s biggest funfair is alive again.
This shot is still from last year, but looking at it now already gets me excited for what is coming next.
Because for me, the Schueberfouer is not only about enjoying the rides. It is also one huge photographic playground.
Lights, movement, long exposures, reflections, crowds, crazy perspectives and that little challenge of finding a view that feels different from the year before.
And yes… the shooting for this year is already planned.
The locations are in my head.
The ideas are starting to take shape.
And the camera will definitely be coming along for the ride.
Last year gave me some unforgettable frames.
Now I am curious to see what this year’s adventure will bring.

A little casual. A lot sensual.
That is a mood I truly love.
A casual environment with just the right touch of sensuality.
Nothing overly staged.
Nothing forced.
Just soft light, a relaxed atmosphere, and a beautiful woman who brings a quiet, natural confidence to every frame.
Thank you, Dany, for gracing this session with your elegance, femininity, and effortless sensuality.

Electric 70s.
Step from the streets of Brussels into the station and you are greeted by a scene that feels straight out of the 70s.
Warm reds.
Bold shapes.
A graphic rhythm of circles, reflections and glowing lines.
For a moment, it feels like stepping into a world of smooth funk, analog cool and retro-futuristic design.
A place where bright colours, sharp geometry and underground energy come together in perfect harmony.
There is something unmistakably seventies in the atmosphere.
The confidence of the design.
The love of form.
The feeling that the future should be stylish, immersive and just a little bit theatrical.
And yet, hidden inside that vintage soul, there is also a faint pulse of something else.
A quiet hint of Tron.
A suggestion of the Grid.
As if this station stands somewhere between disco-era imagination and a digital future waiting to switch on.
A little soul.
A little synth.
A little science fiction.
And suddenly, the journey begins before the train even arrives.
