The curtain has fallen on the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Morocco — an exceptional edition that will stay in our memory in every detail, missing only a long-awaited title that still escapes us.
Morocco did not settle for the minimum in organization. It raised the level and tried to take Africa with it to a higher standard: world-class stadiums, modern infrastructure, well-run logistics, quality accommodation, and strong security. It was a clear organizational success that only the unfair can deny. Some, however, chose to stay stuck in the past and reject this progress, because change bothers those used to low standards. And for anyone who likes to compare, the archives of past tournaments are available online.
On a professional level, this experience was one of the most important moments of my career. I had been waiting a long time for this AFCON to make my first professional contribution. I worked inside and outside the stadiums, as a journalist and as director of our new digital media agency, with leading TV channels and news agencies. Together with my team, we covered press conferences and matches, and produced reports and interviews in Rabat, Casablanca, Tangier, and Marrakech. We thank Congolese National Television, beIN Sports, and other agencies for trusting our work and appreciating Moroccan skills.
This experience comes after a previous phase that ended, as you know, to show that a setback is not the end of the road, but can be the real beginning.
