Behaving well rewards us with beautiful creatures like this coming close to us and keep coming back. Which is of course great to get that kick and that live experience but also to make a photo or video.

Some interesting mant facts:
Epic travelers – satellite tags show they can cross entire oceans, diving from the surface to 1,000+ meters.
They interact with divers – mantas often slow down, make eye contact, and seem genuinely curious (gold for ).

I think there was not a single dive that we did not have some sort of sighting while at archipelago or kore famously known as island, even if that is only one out of four islands.
Here are some interesting manta facts:
Mantas are barrel-roll feeding pros – when plankton is dense, they perform graceful underwater somersaults to stay in the food cloud.
They recognize individual mantas – each manta has a unique belly spot pattern, like a fingerprint.

That electric flash isn’t random — change color to signal the attack!!!!!

🐟 How marlin use color when hunting:

Marlin have in their skin that let them shift from pale blue to bold, electric stripes in seconds.

During a hunt, these flashes are believed to:
• Signal attack intent to other marlin
• Coordinate turns and timing
• Confuse and compress sardine schools

Scientists think the color change acts like a visual “go” signal right before a strike.
