This Friday, commemorating International Women’s Day, we opened the exhibition of my project 50 Women Over 50 at the Mexican Cultural Institute in Copenhagen.

It was such a special evening. Many of the women from the project were there and together with family and friends we celebrated the closing of a chapter that, without planning it, became very important in my life.

When I moved to Denmark and turned 50, I was going through a big personal shift. This project became my way to process that moment. Along the way I met 50 incredible women who shared their wisdom, their stories, their dreams and their honesty about life.

What they showed me is that there is nothing to fear about growing older. Priorities change, but we become wiser, more real, and more connected to ourselves.

I feel deeply grateful to the Embassy of Mexico in Denmark and Ambassador Norma Pensado for supporting this project and helping make this exhibition possible.

Thank you to every woman who trusted me and stepped in front of my camera. I know it can feel vulnerable and I honor that trust so much.

Thank you to my family, my friends, and especially my husband for supporting this idea from the very beginning.

And thank you to everyone who came on Friday. Your energy, excitement and love made the evening unforgettable.

If you couldn’t make it, the exhibition is still open and I hope you can visit soon. Contact me for details.

Today I celebrate all the women in this project and women everywhere. May you be safe, may you be recognised, may you be fulfilled. Happy International Women’s Day.

There’s something very special about photographing mothers and teenage kids. That mix of closeness and distance, of jokes and quiet moments.

It’s not a milestone, it’s just that time when nothing has changed but everything is changing. And I love to capture just this moment, right now. Between laughter and silence, between the boy he was and the man he’s becoming.

We often wait for big occasions to celebrate love, but sometimes it’s these in-between moments that mean the most.

Connection Sessions are about that, about capturing what’s real, what’s fleeting, what’s beautifully ordinary.

📸 Bookings are now open — message me if you’d like to capture the connection with someone you love this season.

This weekend I had the joy of facilitating the 2025 Strategy Day for , where I volunteer as Strategy Advisor.

When I first arrived in Denmark, PWN was one of the first places where I met amazing women, some of whom are still dear friends today. That’s why this role feels so special: it’s not just strategy on paper, it’s about creating spaces where women can connect, grow, and feel supported.

I believe connection is the heart of everything, whether it’s sparking new ideas, building community, creating the perfect portrait or sharing a conversation that turns into friendship.

Excited for the year ahead, and all the meaningful connections we’ll foster together!

Today is my first working day of the year and as most of us I woke up ready to “conquer the world”!
It’s been many years since I made a list of goals, but I still start the new year with so much pressure:
🏃‍♀️ Start that project!
💪 Exercise!
🍎 Eat healthier!
📚 Learn more!
🧘 Meditate!

And on a curve ball, today is a DARK, wet, windy day, so after the healthy smoothie I was ready for a big warm coffee in my winter bathing onesie (no I did not go winterbathing today) and I opened my phone... OMG my feed was overflowing with goals, plans, resolutions, and a million ways to “be better.” And on a day like today, with the winter sky heavy and the light so scarce, it felt like a lot.

If you are feeling the same, let me remind you: you don’t have to carry all of that right now. Winter days like these invite us to slow down, not rush forward. Real growth takes time, and that’s okay.

What if we give ourselves permission to:
✨ Take things one small step at a time.
✨ Celebrate our wins, no matter how tiny.
✨ Rest when the dark days call for it.

This year, let’s aim for progress without the pressure of perfection. Let’s focus on what truly lights us up and keep moving at a pace that feels right for us.
So today I decided to tackle things on my TO-DO list slowly between coffee sips. with my daylight lamp on, staying cozy, and trusting that brighter days are ahead.

How are you starting the year? Let’s inspire each other to approach 2024 with care and balance!

What a fantastic year 2024 has been!

I can only be thankful. I’ve had again the privilege of being healthy, work in what I like photographing very interesting people and now speaking about branding, love and being loved by family and amazing friends and get to connect with fantastic people in this adventure called life.

It’s hard to pick only a handful of photos to share, so many special moments and cherished people that I miss here but keep in my heart ❤️

Many dreams remain to come true, exciting projects to make happen and I’m sure people to meet and connect with. So I’m looking forward to a busy and purposeful year.

I wish you all an amazing 2025, a year where you have the opportunity to make your wishes and dreams come true.

¡Feliz año nuevo!
Godt nytår!
bonne année!
Happy new year!

📚 Entrepreneurship doesn’t have to be lonely—let’s turn the page in 2025!

As entrepreneurs, we’re constantly setting goals, chasing dreams, and building something extraordinary. But let’s face it—sometimes, the journey can feel isolating.

That’s why I’m excited to introduce The Empowerment Boardroom, a space where women entrepreneurs come together to share ideas, learn together, and connect with a network of like-minded women.

✨ Imagine diving into inspiring information that challenges your perspective.
✨ Sharing insights that spark bold moves in your business.
✨ Building connections with women who get the entrepreneurial journey.

We’re kicking off the New Year and I promise, you won’t want to miss this.

💡 Ready to take a seat at the table?

Stay tuned for the official announcement in January and get ready to start 2025 with inspiration, community, and support by your side.

Entrepreneurship can be such a solo journey. Sure, we learn from books, podcasts, workshops, and webinars. But what about the energy that comes from being surrounded by others? I know I couldn’t be the only one craving that kind of connection.

I recently read a Harvard Business Review study that said sitting close to a high performer can increase your own performance by 15%. 🤯 That hit me hard because, as an entrepreneur, I don’t have coworkers to “sit next to.” There’s no one to push me daily, no casual coffee chats with someone who challenges my thinking or inspires me to grow. I’m used to working alone, I’ve been an entrepreneur for 20 years but the move to a new country has made it a bit challenging because many of the resources I would normally use are in a language I’m not close to speaking yet so I even contemplated looking for a job for a little while but being honest, a 9 to 5 job probably is not the best environment for me at this point in my life.

So I thought that if I needed a solution for this issue, there must be others who do, too. Therefore, I’m working on an exciting project that tackles this need. The countdown is on, and I can’t wait to share more with you soon!

Let me know if you are a freelancer or an entrepreneur and if you feel the same way sometimes?

“I’ll book a photoshoot when… I find the perfect outfit. My hair grows out. Life calms down a bit. I lose a few kilos.” Sounds familiar?

I’ve heard women tell me and themselves these phrases to postpone getting their pictures taken. But here’s the twist: you don’t have to wait for the ‘perfect moment’—because that moment might just come after the photoshoot.

Having beautiful, authentic photos taken can be a game changer. Not because they create a new you, but because they help you see yourself differently. More confident. More put-together. More YOU.

I’ve seen it happen over and over:
📸 A woman steps in front of the camera, a little nervous.
✨ She steps away, seeing herself through fresh eyes.
Suddenly, she’s inspired to:
✅ Wear that bold color she’d been avoiding.
✅ Show up confidently on LinkedIn or in her business.
✅ Stop criticizing the parts of herself no one else even notices.

So, if someone you love keeps postponing that photo shoot and you would like to give her a little push, here’s a thought: a photo session could be the gift that reminds her they’re already enough, exactly as she is. And maybe that little boost is all she needs to step strong into the new year.

🎁 I create personalized gift certificates for photo sessions—perfect for a thoughtful, empowering gift this season. I’ll work closely with the lucky recipient to plan a session that feels wonderful, comfortable, and uniquely personal.

📩 Reach out to me, and let’s create a gift she’ll cherish long after the photos are taken.

Isabel / Branding Portraits

Lately I’ve been photographing some amazing entrepreneurs and founders. And conversations about the life of an entrepreneur have filled my time. The fun parts, the challenges, is it freeing but also lonely, where to look for support.

Ahhh this is a topic very close to my heart. I come from an entrepreneurial family so I have the benefit of understanding the lifestyle that comes with it and full support of my choices. When things have been tricky, I didn’t get those recommendations of going back to safety of a job. I received a “you can do it” instead.

It is a leap of faith to choose to be independent but it doesn’t need to be a lonely experience.

I’ve got some ideas that I will be sharing soon!!!

For now, just go and follow .bag.series, Isabel is creating a super cool brand with a lot of meaning and values behind it 💖

Living in Denmark I’ve discovered that the only thing that keeps me sane in the winter is exposing myself to the cold.
🤯
Indeed, this for a Mexican sounds completely wrong, but it’s true!!!

Last month we had more than 2 weeks of grey, cloudy, not too cold days and I could feel the “winter blues” hitting me. I wanted to spend more time inside and my energy was really low and so this week I made the commitment to go out as soon as I wake up, either to the sea or a short walk in the park. And it’s working already! 5 days into it and my mood is better, I’m more productive and hopefully I’ll start sleeping better (that one is also disrupted by the perimenopause hormonal circus living in my body at the moment).

But if it’s getting cold where you are too and you are dreading it, try using the cold to your advantage! And tell me how it goes 😉
