In March 2020, the world witnessed an unprecedented event. A microscopic living being changed the lives of people in every country of this planet. When that happened, I decided to stop posting on social media. Since this social media of mine is focused on travel, lifestyle and motivation, I figured that people's time and energy would be better invested focusing on our loved ones and ourselves then in some dude's social media. However, the world only increased their consumption of social media, whilst another social platform grew exponentially focusing on activities non-essential to life. It has been very different and interesting times. But as long as we have ourselves, our sanity and the ones we care for within our lives, we will succeed. Although the pandemic is not over, my hiatus on social media is. I will be posting some trips and thoughts accumulated over the last few years.
This is from my trip to Yucatan, Mexico and the Mayan Empire. What an incredible visual and cogitative experience. Seeing how once the Mayan nation was the epicenter of culture, technology, science, agriculture etc., their ultimate doom was their lack of alliance and unity. Currently, we are seeing a similar division. Nevertheless, we as a society and a species should be united now more than ever as we face difficult times not as a nation, but as human beings.
