HIDDEN Toshiba STAR-VF3 Freight Elevator at Lotus's Gelugor.
Do you know that Lotus's Gelugor actually has 5 service elevators? This is because it has 4 hidden service elevators, the ones in this post (Cargo Lift 3) & another 3 which should be located at Homepro warehouse at the 1st floor car park, but the shutter gate which should be behind them is closed & off limits to the public. Cargo Lift 3 has a different COP position (left if seen from outside instead of right like the main service elevator itself which I filmed back in 2022) & 1st floor is locked as I tested from outside too with only pressing the 1st floor button & waiting for the door to close. As this elevator can only go up to the 2nd floor, I didn't go up due to safety concerns.
The last two photos show the differences of the emergency exit plan of the 1st & ground floors & the green circles show where the other 3 hidden service elevators are (the last pic shows where the other 3 hidden service elevators are supposed to be if they serve the ground floor).
I actually already knew the existence of cargo lift 3 before I entered the elevator community IIRC & sometime later I knew the existence of the other 3 hidden service elevators. Although having previously filmed the main passenger & service elevators back in 2022 & went there a few times after that, an opportunity leads me to go to the car park & explore around, which is why I take this elevator.

Schindler Miconic B (mod generic) Elevators at Sri Saujana Apartment.
While I was walking to find a restaurant near my driving school after I finished my driving lesson for the day, I was surprised to find the only apartment with lifts nearby but have security on duty at most times at the entrance, security is on a break, so I'm able to go in. What a lucky coincidence! There are two blocks in this apartment, names are Eastadia & Westadia IIRC . The ones I checked are in Eastadia. I believe that each block has 2 elevators, one serving LG & one does not. It is most likely that all of the floors are keycarded (like most common Malaysian apartment standards now, at most cases after the old elevators are modernized by generic) including the ground floor. I believe these used to have golden round buttons when they were original. Didn't check the another elevator & also Block Westadia because the security guard is sitting at the bench between the two blocks then he does some kind of surveillance & I had to leave in a rush.

Fujitec REXIA Elevators at Lin Xiang Xiong Art Gallery.
Some 2020s Huasheng Fujitec MRL elevators at Penang's first art gallery & the world's first over-water art gallery. It is dedicated to the arts of Chinese-born Singaporean painter, Lin Xiang Xiong. Initially wanted to film in January at nighttime but when I went it's already closed (access to basement car park is open but there is no point in it as the doors behind the elevators are locked on non-operation hours, so it is highly recommended to only go there during the operation hours if you want to film them) All elevators have LED indicator & have to use elevator QR code on wristband to access 2nd floor & above. I have a feeling they purposely made the 1st floor (lobby) & 8th floor (attic) floor buttons to be slightly different than others. I did book a ticket & have access to the upper floors, but I film short rides for these only to the basement & back to the 1st floor.
Pic 1-11: Main elevators. The left elevator has a rear door, dedicated for the 2nd floor which is a mezzanine staff floor. The floor buttons in this elevator are placed behind where the door will open on that floor. The right elevator is smaller than the left elevator & does not serve the 2nd floor.
Pic 12-16: Service elevator. The cab is covered by wood to facilitate transporting goods & even the COP is still covered by which I believe are protective stickers.

Toshiba (Mashiba) Elevator at TARUMT (Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management & Technology) Penang Branch (Library).
Just a standard mid 2010s Mashiba MMR elevator with Hunter fixtures. The reason why this should be MMR is because I didn't see any MRL cabinet when I checked the top floor. Although this elevator is supposed to be staff only, people with physical disabilities can use it too as I saw, but despite these regulations, I just film it casually without any consequences after that. The ground floor entrance to the lift lobby is blocked (not shown here). Turnstiles are present to the library entrance so one can only visit if you are not their student during their open day. This is an additional building to the university college from what I know.
I was there for its open day to ask info about my future uni studies. Unfortunately, the OTIS Spec Creces from 1999 located at Block A & B which are some of the original buildings to the campus are not filmed due to rush after that & I didn't have much time for a campus tour organised by them during time of visitation.

Schindler 5000 Elevators at Gleneagles Hospital Penang (Block C).
Not many people really know this yet, Gleneagles Penang now has a brand new block which is a bit hidden as it is separated from Blocks A & B & this block is quite small compared to the others despite the large amount of floors. While I was waiting for too long & I decided to head to a grocery shop at Block B which I frequently visit when I have to accompany my family to this hospital, I was attracted by an advertisement located in Block B of a cafe at Block C so I decided to pay a visit to a new block too. These have black Linea indicators, which are the first full kind I filmed in my career (as Pavilion Elite uses custom fixtures, only the hall indicator is black Linea). The ground floor & top floor chime is very rare, never heard it before in other videos of 5500s & 5000s, but the intermediate floors are just the normal 2 stage chime. These are MRL.

Remaining elevators, escalators & moving walks that I discovered recently at Changi Airport Terminal 2.
I have a layover at Singapore again before proceeding to Busan & vice versa, & here's what I found.
Pic 1: Lift 7 (Mitsubishi ELEMOTION). Similar to Lift 10, but the doors opening position shows that the COP inside is on the right instead of left like Lift 10 & it can't be called from the 2nd floor (I didn't check the landing at the 3rd floor). Should be for staff use only & most likely modernized from MF.
Pic 2-3: Shanghai Mitsubishi K Type escalator. All arrival halls have one of them, but up only. These are located behind the ThyssenKrupp Velinos which are down only. These should be additional during the second renovation, IMO, one of the Velinos was used as an up escalator before the second renovation. Didn't film due to security reasons.
Pic 4: Shanghai Mitsubishi Series C moving walks. These are found towards Gate F31-F34 & should be replaced from Mitsubishi A Type moving walks during the second renovation.

Elevators & escalators at Gimhae International Airport.
Elevators (Netis)
Pic 1-6: International Public Area. This use Korean generic fixtures, & like typical modern Korean elevators, the elevator will talk the floor you're going while pressing the floor. I believe this is an early replacement from an unknown 2007 (which is when the current international terminal is completed) elevator, considering the fixtures don't look like from 2007 at all. For some reason, the MRL cabinet is at the 1st floor which is the bottom floor instead of the top floor.
Pic 7: Towards immigration. There are a few of them, one of them is scenic, but I deleted the scenic ones due to bad angle & quality. One needs a keycard to call it since priority for people with disabilities, airport security seems to be strict because of its sharing with a military base.
Pic 8: Staff elevator of international transit area
Escalators (Hyundai W-BB)
This is a heavy duty model for public transportation facilities. Believed to be original to the current terminal.

Pic 10: Towards immigration. For most likely security reasons, the airport staff encouraged able-bodied people to use stairs instead which I got warned by a female staff there when I attempted to film the escalator, that's why the immigration escalators are so empty.
Pic 11-13: Gate 12A (Hyundai S-BT). A newer installation leading to the boarding gate if the flight needs a bus to aircraft.

OTIS Elevators & Escalators at Hyatt Place Busan Yeonsan.
This is a brand new Hyatt property, opened in December 2025 & the first Hyatt Place in the country. Like many modern Korean elevators, the elevator will talk the floor you're going to while pressing the floor. Each of the elevators except service elevators are included with an informative LED screen.
Elevators
Pic 1-5: Commercial (ACD4MRLGR1(M)). These serve the basement car park & dedicated car park floors only. Uses the normal Sigma '3rd gen' fixtures.
Pic 6-15: Room elevators (ACD4MRGM2(M)). There are 2 sets of them, located opposite of each pair, between them are the commercial escalators. For whatever reason, a pair wrote their serve floors B4-1-5-17-28, but another pair is B4-1-5-7-17-28 , even though they are actually the same configuration which caused me to film both of them.
Pic 16-18: 'Private' Service elevators. Each main elevator side has a service elevator behind. The cab is quite posh for a service elevator & uses the normal Sigma '3rd gen' fixtures too. It has a P floor between 27 & 28.
Pic 19-20: Escalators (OTIS LINK). These are made in China instead of South Korea. The landing plate is slightly different than other modern OTIS escalators in Asia Pacific. They might be installed earlier than the elevators there.

D**g Nam DN-MRL3 (M) Elevators & OTIS LINK Escalator at Jagalchi Market.
This is South Korea's largest seafood market. I found a passenger elevator & freight elevator (unsure about its model is the same or not) there, but only took a photo of the exterior with the door opened for the freight elevator due to rush. The passenger elevator is the same typical current D**g Nam elevator lineup. Based on elevator.go.kr, these are replacements from 2006 elevators. The escalators could be replaced even earlier.

Hyundai STVF-7 Elevators at Lotte Mall Gwangbok.
Some early 2010s Hyundai elevators in a department store cab style. 2 elevators with handicapped panel, 2 elevators without it for the lobby I filmed. The analog indicator inside is Japanese looking for me. Unfortunately, I didn't check the other elevators & escalators since I went there for a quick stop only.
