Black-naped Oriole
This was a fun bird to capture 😁. I was walking around and then heard a familiar '𝘰𝘰𝘺𝘒𝘰𝘺𝘒𝘰' (ooyaoyao? haha), like a bird noise. So I searched around the whole park and played by ear. As I walked, the sound keep going further away. I thought I wouldn't be able to see what bird made that sound. Then this cheeky fella landed on a tree in front of me.

I actually had more photos during my trip to Lombok that I almost forgot 🀣 And guys, Lombok is beautiful πŸ₯Ί a pretty holiday destination for those who craved the outdoors or simply wanna relax by the beach.

πŸ—“ 2022 in photos

I wanna do but it doesn't seem fair since I started this account in August. It started with an emphany: I had too much photos from Nikon Baby idly in my drive. I really had no plan, with this account, no strategy and no growth marketing plan. All I know is I wanna showcase what I capture from behind the camera and learn as I go.

1⃣ A comfort zone of mine: silhouttes. I love playing with light and silhouttes. Kinda what brings me to photography. At the time, there was a lot going on in the back at Borneo Cultures Muzium and it created the perfect canvas.

2⃣ This photo is taken in Brooke Gallery (don't worry, I've asked permission before posting her face). I wanted the light reflection & glass effect. Could've done better with more light reflection, in my opinion. Can edit it in post but nah.

3⃣ Wildlife photography: another comfort zone! Had the chance to get up close and personal with orang utans in Kuching. Aren't they cute? πŸ₯Ί

4⃣ Twas a sunny afternoon, and the shadow under the arch was so inviting. My focus here was in the middle as a lot of movement is contained in one area.

5⃣ Last 3 are raw photos. All taken on the streets of Kuching. It's one of those moments where I just take the camera and go. Ain't much as something still, was mostly trying to capture what's left unnoticed in the busy streets.
