On Saturday, Isuikwuato/Umunneochi spoke with thunder.

Even without opposition, you came out in your thousands — braving rain and sun — to declare with one voice: “Ada Eji Aga Mba, we choose you again.” This wasn’t just a primary election. This was a referendum on trust, a testimony of confidence, a covenant renewal between a daughter and her people.

I stood among you on Saturday — friends who have journeyed with me from the beginning, family who have sacrificed alongside me, loyalists whose faith has never wavered, well-wishers whose prayers have sustained me, and even strangers meeting me for the first time who came because they heard what we’ve accomplished together. In that moment, surrounded by your love and conviction, I knew: the will of God and the will of the people had aligned perfectly.

The journey to re-election officially begins. But let me be clear: I have never failed you, and I will not start now. What I did in the National Assembly from 2007 to 2023, what I accomplished as Minister of State for Labour and Employment — these were not accidents. They were the results of experience, commitment, and an unshakeable dedication to service.

The move to deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term gathered significant momentum earlier today. I was present at an event organised by the Forum of 2027 APC Female Aspirants Network (FAFAN) for the endorsement and formal presentation of the He4She Award to His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In my remarks, I emphasised the imperative of canvassing beyond political party lines. This endeavour is not merely about party affiliation; it is fundamentally about what we believe in and what we are willing to work tirelessly to achieve. I further urged my fellow aspirants to remain deeply rooted in grassroots engagement. While the President can extend all necessary support, any disconnection from the grassroots will inevitably render our collective goals difficult to realise.

I extend my sincere gratitude to FAFAN for endorsing our President and honouring him with the He4She Award. Mr. President is a leader who leads by example. Our First Lady stands as living proof that the President embodies the He4She principle, beginning from his own home, and is therefore truly deserving of this honour.
