THE CRYPTOCURRENCY CRAZE

In the late 1990s, as investors
woke up to the promise of the
internet, shares in any
company with dot.com after its
name soared to giddy heights.
Then the bubble burst.
Now there are warnings of
another technology investment
bubble - this time related to the
fascination with crypto-
currencies such as Bitcoin.
On the Tech Tent podcast this
week, we examine the
phenomenon of ICOs - Initial
Coin Offerings - which have seen
over $1bn raised so far this year
from investors who get little
more than a token and a vague
promise of involvement in a new
business.
The term ICO - designed to
mirror the IPO that sees a firm
issue shares and float on a stock
exchange - seems to mean
different things to different
people. Early versions were
simply ways of getting a new
crypto-currency off the ground,
but now many are promising to
use the blockchain technology
that underpins Bitcoin and
similar currencies to create
businesses.
Among the ICO projects listed by
Smith + Crown, which
researches the crypto-currency
scene, is a business raising
money to create the world's
most lucrative lottery based on
blockchain, and another that
promises to rent out high-
quality office space using digital
tokens.

Google is planning to bring artificial intelligence and machine learning tools to the Raspberry Pi.
The low-cost credit-card sized computer is widely used by schools and the maker community for programming devices.
Google has asked makers to complete a
survey about what smart tools would be "most helpful".
And it suggests tools to aid face and emotion recognition, speech-to-text translation, natural language processing and sentiment analysis.
Google has previously developed a range of tools for machine learning, internet of things devices, wearables, robotics and home automation.
The Raspberry Pi Foundation said the new tools could enable makers "to build even more powerful projects".
"Google is going to arrive in style in 2017. The tech titan has exciting plans for the maker community," said the foundation in its
blog.
A Google spokeswoman told the BBC: "We don't have any specifics to announce right now, but we're excited to keep sharing more open source machine learning tools with the community - stay tuned for more this year."
Eben Upton, founder of the Raspberry Pi Foundation, told the BBC: "It's fantastic to see Google getting closer to the maker community.
"I'm particularly excited about the prospect of connecting Raspberry Pi to some of the machine learning work coming out of Google DeepMind in London, allowing us to build smart devices that interact in the real world."
In 2015, the Raspberry Pi became the most popular British computer ever made.
More than 10 million have now been sold.
The Pi, which was originally manufactured in Wales, has been adopted by school children, programmers and inventors around the world.
It is also increasingly being used by the business community.

New Read.

Here is an interview that goes on with a Jewish leader about 'why the blacks are not so wealthy'. One of the major reasons he stated is that the blacks lack money making ideas, which leads to low wealth creation.
He also reveals some ideas the blacks lack, and outlines some tips which had made the Jews make money with ease.
THE INTERVIEW – Why Are The Blacks Not Wealthy?
INTERVIEWER:
Why are blacks so behind Economically?
JEWISH LEADER:
The only thing blacks understand is Consumption.
Blacks don't understand the importance of creating and building wealth.
The fundamental rule is to keep your money within your racial group.
We the Jews
- build Jewish business,
- hire Jewish,
- buy Jewish and
- spend Jewish. There is nothing wrong with that but it is a basic rule blacks cannot comprehend and follow;
"He kills his fellow blacks daily instead of wanting to see his fellow black do succeed"
93% of blacks killed in America are by other blacks.
Their leaders steal from their people and send the money back to their colonial master from whom they borrow the same money from.
Every successful black wants to spend his money in the country of his colonial masters.
They
- go on holiday abroad,
- buy houses abroad,
- school abroad,
- go for medical treatment abroad etc.
Instead of spending this money in their own country to benefit their people.
Statistics show that the Jew's money exchanges hands 18 times before leaving his community while for blacks it is probably a maximum of once or even zero.
Only 6% of black money goes back into their community. This is why Jews are at the top and blacks are at the bottom of every ladder of society.
Instead of buying
- Louis Vuitton,
- Hermes,
- expensive cars,
- shoes,
- houses,
- dresses etc,
Blacks could
- industralize Africa,
- build banks and get rid of colonial institutions by putting them out of business.
INTERVIEWER:
What is your thought on failure of blacks after 150yrs?
JEWISH LEADER:
Well, nothing is ever the blackman's fault. His
-compulsive habit of killing his own,
- compulsive material consumption.
-His inability to build businesses or
-preserve wealth are usually somebody else's fault.
INTERVIEWER:
So what can blacks do to liberate themselves
JEWISH LEADER: Blacks must take responsibility. Blacks must unite. And vehemently fight corrupt leaders who run down their country and run to IMF as though IMF is Father Christmas.
They need to look inwards otherwise they will continuously remain colonized and lose their place in history.

How tp prevent your camera from being hacked.

To access a camera locally, you must be in range with the wireless network the camera is connected to. There the hacker would need to obtain access to the wireless network by using a number of methods like guessing the security passphace with brute force or spoofing the wireless and jamming the actual one.
In the case of a local network, the security cameras are not usually passworded, since the network security it self is considered to keep malicious attack at bay, so the hacker would have to do little else to take control of the camera and typically other devices around the house.
A security camera which transmits video feed over the internet could fall victim to password attacks like weak or default password and also attacks that circumvent authentication on the security company's web servers altogether.
The other way for an hacker to find an unsecured video feed is only a Google search away. Their are ways to know if your security camera has been hacked.
How to know If Your Security Camera Has Been Hacked
It would be very difficult to know if your security camera has been hacked, but it could only happen to an untrained person. A red flag for some malicious activity on a security camera is slow or worse than normal performance. "Many cameras have limited memory, and when attackers leverage the cameras, CPU cycles have to work extra hard, making regular camera operations almost or entirely unusable at times. Then again, poor performance isn't solely indicative of a malicious attack -- it could have a perfectly normal explanation, such as a poor connection or signal.
How To Prevent Your Camera From Getting Hacked
There are precautions you can take for your camera not be hacked
1. Your wireless network should be secured with WPA2.
2. Enable enable encryption within the security camera's administrative tools when available
3. Protect the admin software with a username and password that cannot be easily guessed, even on a secured network.
4. Make sure the camera filmware is updated always.
Putting security cameras on a network of their own is also advisable, this would help to prevent "land and expand" where an hacker could gain access to one device which could be also use to control other devices on the same network.
Also, you can use a virtual private network or VNP to further restrict which devices can access the network the security cameras are on, You can also log all activity on the network and be certain there's nothing unusual happening there.
Following the above precautions could decrease the rate and action of the hacker and can also help to provide security, making it difficult for the hacker to take over.

Did this help, feel free to share. There is love in sharing.
