Because sometimes, we hear those words and think they mean you can become anything overnight.

Lovelies 💎, I have a confession to make... SOMETIMES, I FEEL STUCK.

Not because I don't have dreams.
Not because I don't know what I want.
Sometimes, I’m simply tired.
And I’ve learnt that feeling stuck doesn't always mean QUIT.
Sometimes it means: Pause. Rest. Reassess. Change the strategy. Ask for help. Try another door.
Maybe the question isn't,
"Why am I not where I want to be?"
Maybe it's…
"What is one small thing I can do today to move forward?"
You don't have to figure out your entire life today.

Today, I woke up thinking about how fragile life really is.

We make plans.
We calculate money.
We postpone celebrations.
We say, “We’ll do it later.”
Yesterday, I went for a photoshoot already imagining the amount I would make from it.
Then came the message: the service was no longer needed.
It was disappointing, but it made me think…
How many beautiful moments have we also cancelled in our minds because “there will always be another time”?
The birthday we said we'd celebrate next year.
The family picture we keep postponing.
The mother we keep saying we'll photograph “when she has time.”
The children we assume will always be this little.
And then one day…
You look around.
And someone is no longer there.
Oh, how frail life is.
Maybe pictures aren't just pictures after all.
Maybe they are little pieces of people and moments we get to keep when life has moved on.
So, please…
Celebrate them.
Photograph them.
Document them.
Love them loudly while you still can.
Because sometimes, “later” never comes.
And when it comes to memories, I'd rather help you document them today than have you wish you had tomorrow.

What if I was no longer a photographer? 😂
I may likely become a runway catwalker because WHY am I always the one walking like this when there’s a camera around? 😂💃🏽

Meanwhile, the actual clients are standing there like:
“Madam photographer, are we shooting or are you auditioning for Fashion Week?” 😭😂
But you see… this is what happens when you genuinely LOVE creating beautiful memories. Sometimes the photographer becomes part of the entertainment. 😂
From chasing toddlers around the studio to fixing mummy’s dress, calming a nervous child and somehow ending up modelling in between shots…

Just because I'll keep showing up.

She walked in saying, “I don’t know how to pose.”
Her hands were awkward, her shoulders stiff, and she kept laughing nervously. 😂
But I kept showing up—adjusting, encouraging, making her laugh—until she forgot the camera was even there.
When I showed her the images, she asked,
“Is this really me?”
