Once, this game was everything.

Afternoons were never quiet. Friends gathered around wooden boards, seeds in hand, minds sharp with strategy and hearts full of laughter. Every move mattered. It wasn’t just about winning—it was about thinking ahead, being patient, and learning from each other. Bonds were formed here, in simple moments that carried deep meaning.

This game taught discipline, focus, and connection. It brought people together, creating stories, teasing, and memories that lasted far beyond the final move.

But slowly, the gatherings faded. The boards were set aside, replaced by screens and distractions. Many youths today have never played, never felt the thrill of a smart move or the joy of shared laughter around a simple game.

Yet, the story isn’t over.

The board still exists. The seeds still wait.

All it takes is a moment—to sit, to play, to remember, and to reconnect with a culture that was never meant to be forgotten.

He was known as the king who never rushed—not because he had time, but because he understood what many did not: every move has a consequence.

In the quiet of his court, with no crowd, no noise, no praise, he sat before the board. Not a game, but a reflection of war, of life, of power. Each piece carried weight. Each move could build or destroy. And so, he smiled, believing control was his.

But then she stepped in.

Not as a servant. Not as a distraction. But as truth.

Her presence broke the silence, not with noise, but with meaning. She reached for the board—not to play, but to remind him:

“A king who listens only to himself will one day rule over nothing.”

The smile faded—not out of weakness, but awareness.

Because even kings must pause… to learn.

I used to think unfollowing people meant something was wrong with me…
Like I was insecure, jealous, or not “supportive enough.”

But the truth?

As a photographer, I realized I was constantly comparing my work, my journey, even my pace… to people who are on completely different paths.

So I started choosing *me*.

I unfollow not out of hate—but out of awareness.

Because:
• I want to protect my creative voice
• I want to create without pressure
• I want to stop comparing my behind-the-scenes to someone else’s highlights
• I want to grow at my own pace
• I want peace while I build

Unfollowing isn’t bitterness.
It’s boundaries.

And honestly?
My creativity has been louder ever since.

If you’re a photographer and you’ve been feeling this way… you’re not alone.

All roads leads to the east. My good friend found a beautiful baby. This ground was so very very hot enn🤣🤣. But you know me I must take that shot. The idea of going to a location is the experience the environment give someone. For photographers you should include the environment in your clients photos because that’s the essence they didn’t have a studio shoot.

Forever lives here.
Sometime last year, my guy told me something that stayed with me…

He said I would be the one to take his pre-wedding photos.
At that time, it sounded like one of those “we go do am” statements… but somehow, God made it happen.
Fast forward to this year, and we found ourselves on that long journey to Tropicana, Epe road… not just going for a shoot, but going to create something meaningful.
He kept talking about how he wanted memories that would last forever.

Not just fine pictures, but moments he could look back on years from now and still feel everything.
And standing there, camera in my hand, I realized… this one is deeper than work.
It’s trust.
It’s friendship.
It’s love.
Because in this life, moments come and go so fast… but the right picture can hold it still, even if it’s just for a second.

I’m just grateful I got to be part of something this special.
