I had the privilege to photograph Dora_Florence Foundation medical outreach in Siddamond school, Bariga Lagos State.
Dora and Florence children foundation's mission is to go to schools in informal communities, reach out to children, screen them, identify hidden health challenges to create a healthier and stronger community.
As someone who has is still living in an informal community, I know how important this is because most children live with conditions that are not discovered early and it leads to poor performance in their education.
I am of the opinion that "there is no dull child" some children we tag as dull might just be so because of some hidden health challenges.
This outreach was possible because of the sponsorship and support of people and organizations like Angel Manafa Memorial Initiative, Charis Impact team, the volunteers, healthcare professionals, school and teachers that opened their heart to this mission.
There are more communities to be reached and I know you would love to be part of this great impact.
