A night of lights, fashion, cameras, culture, and pure creativity.

I stopped by AMVCA 12 at Eko Hotel and even though I couldn’t stay for the main awards, I still got to capture some beautiful moments from the red carpet, the atmosphere, and the stunning event setup.

Every corner had a story.
Every outfit carried presence.
Every flash reminded me why I love what I do.

Culture was the real star of the night.

At the AMVCA Cultural Night, the energy, the fashion, the colours, and the pride in our traditions were impossible to miss. From beautifully crafted attires to stunning celebrity appearances, every moment felt like a celebration of African excellence.

Dear Bolt, Uber, InDrive, LagRide and the rest… .ng

If I’m paying for a ride that is already expensive, why am I entering a car that looks like it survived a flood? 😭

Why is the seat looking tired?
Why is the car smelling somehow?
Why is the driver telling me “Madam, AC no dey work” or “I no fit on AC because fuel expensive”?

Excuse me???
This is not a public bus. This is supposed to be a comfort service.

The whole point of ordering a ride is convenience, comfort, and peace of mind. If I wanted suffering and hot breeze, I would enter keke or bus and save my money.

Some of these rides are charging premium prices but giving frustrated passenger experience.

Please, if drivers want to work on these platforms:
• Keep the car clean
• Smell nice
• Fix the AC
• Stop acting angry because someone booked a ride

Customers deserve value for their money abeg.

Because at this point, the only thing “luxury” is the price. 😭
