A PIECE OF ADVICE TO ACTORS/CREW
The Nollywood of today thrives on PUBLICITY
No matter how good ur film is...without publicity the film may not succeed in the market
As such,all actors and even crew should build a fan base around themselves
Even as a crew you should have at least 1,000 people who will rush to watch a film since u are the makeup artist, costumier,director,DOP etc...Dont think having a fan base is only applicable to the actors
Be proud of any job u work on as either a crew or actor
Tell the world about it constantly
By so doing u r building ur fan base as well as helping in publicity of the job u did
A producer/Executive Producer will be so glad working with u if your fan base is high because that will make him or her to get ROI (Return On Investment)
As for me, one of the key ways to make me work with you is when I know you have a fan base not just on Facebook but IG etc
