BYY Innovations at the MAYE Integration Training for Youth-Led Organizations
BYY Innovations was honored to participate in the 2-day Meaningful Adolescent and Youth Engagement (MAYE) Integration Training for Youth-Led Organizations Workshop, aimed at strengthening the integration of youth voices into adolescent and youth health programming.
The workshop provided valuable insights into the MAYE approach, including meaningful youth participation, Capacity building, Roger Hart's Ladder of Participation, safeguarding principles, addressing engagement gaps, and developing practical work plans for implementation.
Our representative Abdullahi Ishaq and Safiyyah Abubakar Bamalli actively engaged in discussions, learning sessions, and collaborative activities designed to promote inclusive, safe, and impactful youth engagement. The knowledge and skills gained will contribute to strengthening BYY Innovations' commitment to empowering young people and ensuring their voices are meaningfully represented in community development initiatives.
