📍Bad Gastein, Austria

Bad Gastein is a spa and ski town nestled in the Alps. And it's SO beautiful! Natural thermal water arrives in Bad Gastein at 46°c. The thermal water is used in the many thermal baths around the town. From the bottom of the ski lifts, you can cross a bridge and walk straight into the spa to relax after skiing!

🚄 Getting there: From Amsterdam you can easily take an overnight to Innsbruck or a day train Salzburg and then a short connection to Bad Gastein.

Absolutely in love with this place and can't wait to share more about it!

I could photograph this town from a million different angles at every time of day and it would still look like magic.

Views from the panorama walk. And with trails leading in every direction, already planning my next trip here 😅

A few long exposures over the Amstel. The different coloured boats made it so much fun trying to create different patterns.

I used an ND8 & ND4 to shoot 3hrs before sunset.

Amsterdam canal cruise! My all time favourite way to explore the city.

Whether you're visiting for a weekend, or a long-term Amsterdammer, I really don't think you can get sick of experiencing the city from the water.

I floating through the Jordaan. But for a quieter experience, the Amstel is so relaxing.
