A bumblebee (common carder bee) perfectly perched on a dahlia. For me, this is the ultimate dream combination. I am completely obsessed with both, so capturing them together like this just feels magical.❤️✨

Late summer is hands down my favorite time of the year, when the dahlias burst into full bloom. I spent hours catching moments like this among the historic flower beds at Kasteel Keukenhof. If I could, I would literally pack my bags and move in right there among all those flowers. 🏕️

Caught in action! 🐝

You might think this common furrow bee (Lasioglossum albipes) was sitting quietly for a portrait on this Cosmos flower, but the opposite is true! After patiently waiting for the right moment, I finally managed to capture it. 😅
