Happy Birthday to the amazing Sir David Attenborough!
Thank you so much for all your beautiful and inspiring nature programs, your moving narratives celebrate every animal species alive. Small or big. The animal kingdom must be proud today! As are we.

For us it was extra special to have seen A Gorilla Story last week, because the day after, we went for a gorilla tracking at Bisate (Rwanda) with the legendary Louis, who is the only still active guide of Dian Fossey. The Pablo Group was too far away, but it was a thrill to do a tracking with Francois and we saw two gorilla families, very close. We were speechless. This was our third gorilla tracking, but this was something else! Like mr. Attenborough says: “There is more meaning in exchanging a glance of a gorilla than with any other animal I know”, and we agree on that. You can look into their souls, and that experience is breathtaking.

Yesterday the Dutch national television VPRO channel showed a serie of BBC program maker Bruce Parry about tribes. This episode was about the friendly people of , who live very remote and very traditional. Like Bruce, we visited a village around Virei in the Iona desert. It was really special, and it was interesting to see how Bruce stayed with these people for three weeks. It is nice to see how well he is connected with these people; becoming friends with respect for each other.

In juni moet ons eerste nummer verschijnen, uitgegeven door ! Wij kijken er enorm naar uit. Alvast een impressie van hoe het er ongeveer uit gaat zien. Meer info volgt binnenkort.

For our foreign friends and readers: we can finally shout it out loud! We are going to release our own printed magazine in June! This will be in Dutch (sorry 🙃), but some articles you can still read in English on our website.
