A • Brandsma x Odds & Ends presents a limited collection of four garments made from rejected Odds & Ends tablecloths by Foekje Fleur.
The collection consists of four wearable .brandsma pieces, created from a batch of 70 tablecloths that did not pass production selection. Instead of becoming waste once again, these textiles were given a completely new life. And yes: Odds & Ends is now something you can wear!
Odds & Ends is Foekje Fleur’s ongoing project that gives leftover yarns from the textile industry a second life. Surplus cotton yarns are woven into colourful textiles in Portugal, resulting in unexpected colour combinations and limited editions where no batch is ever the same.

A • Brandsma is the Rotterdam based clothing label by designer Amber Brandsma. The collection celebrates everyday pieces with unexpected details, inspired by found patterns and existing garments. Playful twists and comfort come together in designs made to blend effortlessly into your wardrobe.
The collection launches in limited quantities and is available only while the fabric lasts. At the launches there will be a small in‑store stock and full fit samples. Once the stock runs out, you can pre‑order your favourite piece on the spot. This way we use every tablecloth as carefully as possible and we make sure there are no leftovers of leftovers of leftovers. So make sure you don’t miss out!
Visitors are warmly invited to discover the collection during the launch events.

Checks on top of checks, I call this design checkered check. I took it to and this batch turned out to be the perfect match with Heisha’s electric art collection. Kitchen towels, tea towels and multicloths in the same dessin, all made with leftover yarn in Portugal.

Have you met Criss Cross yet? This is my second collection in this dessin, this time in softer tones that go well with white, cream and beige bathrooms, like her in our photoshoot at Susan from . The collection consists of a bath towel, a structured bath mat and a set of guest towels/face towels/hand towels. The dessin has two sides, one with larger squares on a striped grid, while the other side is reversed with very fine lines that allow for the last yarn remainders. In webshop and stores now.

Another extra-large beach towel!
This one features the ‘Tulip Quilt’ design — a pattern I’ve previously used for smaller bathroom items. It turns out it works beautifully in this oversized format too (90 x 180 cm).

The name Tulip Quilt is inspired by both the iconic Dutch tulip fields that bloom across the Netherlands in spring, and the cozy charm of a patchwork quilt.

Like all Odds & Ends items, this towel is made from industry surplus materials, which means it includes lots of colors — making it easy to spot on the beach or by the pool. 😉

Whoops, totally forgot to post this baby!
 It’s a beach towel, sized 90 x 180 cm, woven with a sculpted technique and just like all Odds & Ends made from production remainders - hence the crazy amount of different colours. The pattern is based on colored lenses of sunglasses, stacked on top of each others so colours get mixed optically.. it also looks a bit like coral reef, with the long pluche terry loops.

It is almost sold out in my webshop but still available in many shops.
