Photography wise, 2024 did not feel like my year.

I feel like I missed out on opportunities. On shoots I planned for and really wanted, but ultimately I either had to cancel because life became too busy, or otherwise simply did not happen. It feels I did the same thing over and over again, without growing, without learning. It feels like I stalled. Lost.

But... spoiler alert: none of this is true! Or ultimately, the causes are different from what I expected. See link for a thought-stream into my mind, and a nice collection of everything I captured last year!

Ever since I played WoW I've always wanted to go to Ashenvale.

For reasons we can't do that in reality, but this shoot came close!

Floating

As you might have noticed I'm dabbling more towards conceptual series - combining light, atmosphere and serene poses into something that just clicks for me. I've got a few more good plans ahead! Let me know if you like. Oh and do feel free to ping if you want to collab and brainstorm on similar ideas!

As many people requested it - here is one more. These shot were part of an emerging dance between both models - continuously varying between closeness and distance. It was amazing to see! The entire series will soon be on my site.

Anonymous emotions

And now for something completely different: this is a conceptual piece on interactions without sight sound.

The result you see was not a planned pose - it was created in silence, based on touch alone, and directed only by words to indicate an emotional state.

Creating something like this was a plan for me for a while now, and I really loved how this came together! To see how the performers moved their bodies, almost as if it was an intricate dance.

It is also something completely different from what I usually publish - I am curious about your feedback!

(un)related note / model call: I am currently working on my 2023 photoshoot plans, and I would really love to add more of this type of vibe in my moodboards and storylines as well. If you're game for this as well, do poke!
