is often determined by reference to others. , , , , these labels try to pull us into a box. But that should not determine who we are. The only thing that matters is .

are easily made. Is it a boy or a girl? Is it his arm, or hers? At first glance we might make some wrong assumptions. Look closer.

or ? Are we loving, or hurting each other? The lines can be blurry.

This is for Siu, my beloved niece who left us suddenly and way too soon... She came up with the ‘shadow-print’, made from the left over foil of a Zilverprint. The floating stand is made from bamboo and fishing wire. R.i.P. 17-8-2021

To celebrate Christmas and the fact I finally figured out how to Zilverprint in full color, I printed the most beautiful crib of newborn stars in the universe, the Orion Nebula! Merry Christmas and Best wishes for 2021 everybody!

Something different: in the after hours of the Zilverprint studio I work on an art project “Art in Lockdown”, a series of photographs inspired by the paintings of Francis Bacon, contemplating the insanity of this worldwide crisis. If you’d like to see more, follow .nl for updates.
