While I'm quite busy with my thesis for my final year at college, I forgot to upload some gigs I shot the past months. So here are some photos of the Korn concert in March I went to for Smash Press. 11 mei 2016, tijdens het vrij spelen op de dagbehandeling
Dit is met één van mijn kinderen, Tyreeq, op mijn stageplaats in Atlantis, Zuid-Afrika. Ik liep stage bij een organisatie voor kinderen, jongeren en jongvolwassenen met een verstandelijk en lichamelijke handicap. Vanaf het begin af aan had ik het doel om deze jongen uit zijn verlegen gevoel te krijgen en zorgen dat hij zou gaan praten. Ik heb 3,5 maand veel met hem samengewerkt, zowel tijdens fysiotherapie als op de groep. Ik verloor mijn hart aan alle 17 kinderen in mijn groep, de hele organisatie en het prachtige land. Alleen Tyreeq heeft helemaal een speciaal plekje in mijn hart. Na 3,5 maand waren we zo ver dat hij tegen mij praatte, grapjes maakte, speelde met een aantal andere kinderen en ook begon te praten tegen de careworkers en fysiotherapeut. Zo was het dus ook mogelijk om deze foto samen te maken. Het zijn kleine stapjes maar ik ben zo gelukkig dat ik hierbij heb kunnen bijdragen en hem met een goed gevoel weer kan opzoeken over een tijdje.
