When nature takes over the castle 🙌🏻

Buchanan Castle is one of Scotland’s most impressive abandoned buildings. Built in the 19th century, it was once a grand country house before falling into ruin after a fire in 1954.

Today, nature is slowly taking it back. Walking through what’s left, it’s easy to imagine how impressive this place must have been in its prime. If you enjoy exploring forgotten places with a bit of history, Buchanan Castle is well worth a visit.
