Really excited to be working with Lions to help raise funds for their community projects. Fudgy McFudgeface (formerly known as Russian Fudge) is available through Lions (below) or, for the rest of March all fudge sales directly from lemon Tree kitchen will be in special Lions packaging and go towards community projects. $7 slabs or $8 for gift boxes.

Huapai-Kumeu Lions and Lemon Tree Kitchen have teamed up to support local community projects. We are now selling their "FUDGY MCFUDGEFACE" which is seeeeriously good. So good in fact, it may lead you to search for a range of superlatives not needed for some time. High praise-we know!
Why a playful Scottish sounding name like "FUDGY MCFUDGEFACE" you may ask? Well, it's because what is often called Russian Fudge is in fact from Scotland, so it's high time Scotland declared its rights to this bastion of magnificent, smooth, soft, golden, fudgy, goodness.
We can deliver for free to the Huapai-Kumeu residential area. If you live outside this area we have a pickup point near the Kumeu Showgrounds. The boxes are $8 and the slabs $7. Message us (using the button below) to make an order. We'll send you the payment details.
All funds raised are currently going to "Norwest Care Trust" who run a food bank for families finding it tough to make ends meet right now.

The weekend before we went into lockdown, I was commissioned to photograph two weddings. Large crowds bad been told not to assemble. However, both weddings were small intimate gatherings, so they went ahead.
For the couples, their days were tempered with some guests unable to join them, bottles of hand sanitiser scattered around the venue, subdued guests and conversations focused on the pandemic.
Despite all of this, love won over and both couples were married in a beautiful venue, surrounded by their loved ones.
Here is one of the images from Stacy and Shaun's wedding day.... a visual reminder of the world at the moment they become husband and wife.

Steph and Hamish's beautiful Redwoods Treehouse wedding was as much a celebration of family as it was of a couple's love. I adored the first dance boogie which included two little men, and the wee arms clutching dad's legs during the ceremony. This was truly a four way love story.... Congratulations.

It has been so much fun working on this cookbook project for my children’s school. Gather will be launched next week and will be available from Taupaki School office or online via the school website or grab a copy from The Hunting Lodge or Hallertau Brewery.
