This was a pretty wild sunset taken 30,000 ft. over Indonesia on my way through to Singapore a couple of weeks ago. Iβm glad I saved my sleep for the trip from Singapore to London, otherwise I would have missed it. When the sun went down, the thickest part of the milky way was wrapping itself around the left side of the plane. I tried to take pics but when youβre flying a million miles an hour, itβs hard to do long exposures so I just immersed myself in all of the activity in the sky with zero light pollution, π« it was the brightest Iβd ever seen the Milky Way. Colours are straight from the camera too ππ
