Finally got out to take some photos a few weeks ago, and went for my first sunset mission in a couple of years.

Using defs made these long exposure shots easy to manage.

Also pro tip, always keep an eye on the waves, or they'll get ya 😂😂

Taken on that famous aurora night, finally was happy with my edit of this panorama, 45 shots in total were taken to make this shot happen.
After getting to the beach at 10pm I was afraid I'd missed it, but a bit of patience went a long way. Catching up with and while chancing the waves to get a shot of the lighthouse, I decided to set up for a big panorama. As I was about to start taking my foreground row, it started absolutely going off. A quick change in settings, and it turns out the background rows were going to be captured first!

I'm thinking of putting this up in my print store (link in bio), let me know in the comments if you want it as a print!

Had a super time getting out to capture this awesome alignment of the moon and . Really blue me away I got it right! All thanks to for being the go to celestial alignment planning app.

Along with half of Auckland it seem, it was great to meet people I'd only interacted with online, or in the middle of the night 😂

Hey everyone! Long time no talk!

I've been currently holed up and home recovering from ACL reconstruction surgery, but that's just an excuse for the loss of motivation for shooting that was occurring well before the surgery.. With the recovery going well, the motivation is back. Expect to see more new works coming up!!

In the meantime, my thoughts were on how to enable people's support when they don't have space for a print up on their wall??
