Loved getting to photograph our new local Southern Plumbing & Heating build for !

Every inch of this beauty was thought out, from the exterior, the showroom, meeting rooms, and workshop, right down to the details.

We focused on workmanship and all the little details when showcasing this build, including the recycled rimu feature walls, polished concrete floors, black aluminium joinery, and the original framing kept on show in the workshop.

Such a cool mix of old and new, and a real asset to our main street team!

Hannah organised to get the whooooole Gold Family together for a full Heirloom Session at Naish Park! This was their Christmas gift to 95 year old Nana, and honestly, what a beautiful thing to be able to give someone.

These are the sessions that feel extra special to me. The ones where it is not just about updating the family photos, but about freezing a little piece of time while everyone is together.

Big families, little cousins, grandparents, laughter, chaos, cuddles, and all the in between moments that make a family feel like a family.

Such a privilege to capture this for the Lemm family 🤍

Earlier this year the Bosch family were down from the Wairarapa visiting family. Trading farm life for a bit of beach love down at Kaka Point we took a moody beach day and turned them into genuinely treasured family memories that they get to keep forever. A beaut mixture of lightly posed and candid photos to really give them some variety to bring back the memories, and to print for the wall.

If I can encourage you to do one thing at your family shoot it would be this: Let the kids lead.
- If they want to run about and be silly - join in!
- If they want to sit down and have snuggles - lap up every beautiful second!
- If they are not that into it - go exploring and throw rocks in the river!
The best photos come when you let their personalties shine, when as the parent you let it all go, just for a wee while, and have a bit of fun yourself!

The Johnston family did just that, and it was so worth it! The actual magic and memories in these moments are priceless! I genuinely have a giggle thinking about how their high fives turn into rolling in the grass, and their hugs turn into tackling! They are never this age again, and it is so special to capture in a session like this!
