Awesome night out at Woodford Glen Speedway last night for Night 1 of the Super Saloon Xtreme Dirt Series with the Waddell Motorsport team!

Some awesome footage captured already off the beautiful presented 18m car!
In Sam’s first heat race he started off Grid 4 then received a relegation to the rear-of-field after trying to avoid contact on lap 1, he then drove through the field from the back to finish 2nd!!!
An awesome drive and couldn’t wait to share with you all!

With the quality of drivers entered in this series and more drives like that for the 18m she’s going to be one hell of a series!!
Looking forward to seeing what we can capture over the next week on the road in the South Island with the Waddell team!

Saddened to hear of the passing of Paddy North today after his short but hard fight with cancer.

Paddy always had time for a chat or to lend you a hand if needed, and really was one of the sports genuine good buggers that you looked forward to seeing at the track every other weekend….

Here’s a picture I took of Paddy in his sprintcar on the dummy grid in Palmy when he was lined up against the then 2nz Michael Pickens, I remember how stoked he was to take it to him!!!

I have blended some pictures together into the picture as a bit of a tribute.

Thoughts go out to all of Paddy’s family during this time.

Rest easy mate, you will be missed!

We all have our favourite teams and drivers no matter what class you are supporting at speedway,
We have all the same common interests and we live & breathe all the same dust and fuel vapours at each meeting,
We travel together, we ride the highs and lows together and we all do it for the exact same reasons each weekend.

Last night the unthinkable happened and sadly one team went home without one of their own.

The silent pits and grounded wings will never be forgotten….

Thoughts are with the family, friends and the Mustangs team during this time

3 years ago today, and still one of the wildest rides I have ever seen in a Super Saloon after damaged steering caused a car to dart across the fastest part of the racetrack at Central Motor Speedway

Hope everyone out there is surviving lockdown alright, thought I’d pop another video up for your viewing pleasure.

So, want to see the work rate of the suspension on the Leech Motorsport built QTR4 Super Stock???

Then come jump onboard the 9g of Jamie Hamilton as he and the Gisborne Giants take on the Baypark Busters at Waikaraka Speedway during the Auckland teams champs earlier this year.

Some wicked footage and shots rearly seen on this style of car, when Glen & Jamie invited me to go up I went out and purchased another 360 camera just for the night….because as you will see, I very easily could have lost one 🤣

Willing to risk it all to get some cool shots & luckily both cameras survived the night, I hope to get some cameras back on this car in the up coming season!
Bring on the first race day and more teams champs!!

Have had a few people asking for some raw footage from the 360 camera from the last speedway season…

So I invite you to come jump on board the 18c/3nz of Jacob Mitchell during one of his heat races at the recent New Zealand Champs where he took on the best in the NZ Modified Class.

Some impressive passing skills and soooo good to watch when he gets into some clean air and let’s this beast sail up on the highline…..enjoy 👌🏽

Sunday has, and always will be for Kart Racing for many families around NZ.

It’s a sport that brings people together most weekends as competitors push limits and better themselves every time they go out on track, family and friends often bonding as a team out on the road as they travel to each event.

Simon Hunter is a household name within KartSport New Zealand Racing, this 8x Sprint Kart Champion has had his fair share of wins and has firmly planted his name in the history books to stay for years to come.

2021 seen Simon a bit out of practice with not a lot of seat time in a kart leading up to the NZ title, struggling to find pace and get the kart working as it should was challenging at best over the weekend.
It was a year that Hunter was going to have to drive the wheels of kart 42 to make a podium, and that’s exactly what he done with the help of the karting guru Tony Chambers.

Awesome to be invited out to KartSport Canterbury and capture the weekend for Simon, it’s been awesome working on this 360 footage and seeing Simon at his best against the best!

Have to send a massive shout out to Jason and the team at The Pits Media who done an awesome job all weekend on the live stream for the club, nabbed a bit of their commentary to use in the video.
The voice of Mike Wilson is just too good not to use, so thanks guys 🙏🏽
