FAMILY.
It's real. It's raw. There's emotions tied to every moment. It's not perfect. It can be chaos. There's often smiles, sometimes tears.
Some photos mean nothing at the time. Some you love instantly. But they all have one thing in common. They're memories frozen in time that you won't ever relive the same way again. And with time, that moment becomes more precious every day.
Don't underestimate the photos you decided to leave off your insta feeds or wall during the exciting post-photo session hype. They could just be the ones you cherish the most one day.

This photo eventuated after a quick home studio mock up in preparation for an upcoming shoot on Monday morning.
I had set everything up and used my daughter for a quick test shoot before rushing out the door to collect my son from school in the pouring rain. We returned home with ice blocks in hand and Archie saw the set up and wanted a photo with his sister. So we did it. Still wet from the rain, ice cream covered clothing and school uniform still on.
It's not perfect but that's what I love about it. It's messy, impromptu and raw.
