✨ Big news ✨
After almost two years away from photography and content creation — time I needed after Harlee got sick and after a few tough experiences in this field where ai lost a lot of confidence — I’m finally ready to step back into what I know I need to be doing.
It’s been an incredibly tough two years for me and my family, navigating Harlee’s ongoing sickness. She’s still undiagnosed, and it’s been a journey of strength, faith, and constant learning. This next step isn’t just about coming back — it’s something I’m doing to support my family and rebuild what lights me up inside which is being creative and having an outlet!
I have gotten this far with one second hand camera and one lens which is absolutely past the use by date. After a lot of reflection, conversations with incredible humans, and inquiries from people who believed in me before I even did, I’ve decided to make a big financial and personal investment to upskill, grow, and relaunch myself properly(along with a lot of new top of the line gear). This all happened in the space of three weeks and after many sleepless nights we are here.
So, here it is… my new business name: Emkay 🎥📸
I’m officially back — doing photography, behind-the-scenes(weddings and events), and social media content for businesses who want to connect, create, and show the heart behind what they do. Emkay will be an umbrella for so many different things and my own vision scares the heck out of me.
I can’t wait to see all my returning and new clients — AND THANK YOU! 🥹 I was well and truly done with this so will need all of your support to get myself back into this playing field.
The business itself isn’t launched(yet) but keep your eyes peeled because that’ll happen in the next few weeks and then we will get straight into it and I’ll bring you my new product look. Trust me, it’s worth the wait.
Out of the hardest seasons come the strongest returns — this is it.
