There’s something so nostalgic about 35mm Film 🎞️ ✨
These little surprises from Gaia + Luke’s wedding day have that grainy, dreamy feel to them — the kind of imperfect, unexpected shots that make you fall in love with a moment all over again once they’re developed.

I love offering it as a fun little add-on now — no pressure, just something extra for the couples who want a bit of that magic in their gallery too ✨

Take me back to this dream day — the couple were so in love, half the wedding party had the most beautiful Italian accents, those Te Mata Peak views were showing off, and the flowers from were so stunning I thought I’d been transported to Europe🇮🇹

I’ll never know how I got to help these gorgeous people (inside & out) capture such special & fun memories - pinch me - What a gift 🥹✨

What a gorgeous morning in the studio with this beautiful Central Hawke's Bay family — Breanna, Tyler and their new son, Koa, in for a newborn and family lifestyle session.

I love this style of photography because it's just real with soft light, genuine cuddles and all those tiny newborn details you want to remember forever. Koa's only just started holding eye contact, and getting to capture that stage before it disappears is such a privilege.

Loveable, caring and supportive — that's how this family described themselves, and it came through in every moment we shared together.

Meet Dennis — a very patient Central Bearded Dragon, unofficial 4th sibling, and full-blown obsession of his two big brothers. 🦎

His little sister brought her own best mate along too — a well-loved snuggle bunny that's clearly seen some serious cuddles. 🐰❤️

These portraits, in colour and black & white, capture something that's such a big part of family life — the pets and toys kids can't imagine being without. Dennis has clearly been carried everywhere he goes 🦎🐉

Kids change so fast, and one day these boys won't be walking around with a lizard on their shoulder like it's totally normal. But the photo will still be there, telling the story of exactly who they were at this age and what they loved 🥰

Honestly, it's the simple portraits like these that end up meaning the most on your walls. You'll never regret having them.
If your family has a Dennis of its own (lizard, dog, favourite toy — I don't discriminate), I'd love to capture it too

What a summer it's been. 💛

I've had the absolute privilege of travelling across Manawatū and Hawke's Bay — and beyond — to document love stories in some of the most beautiful places in New Zealand. From the Pohangina Valley in the Manawatū, across to Dannevirke, all the way to Napier!

From private farms to river and beach elopements, from stunning old churches to favourite venues to woodsheds to hidden gems — every single couple has reminded me why I love this work so much.

I'm so grateful. Grateful for the couples who trusted me with their day. Grateful for the venues that opened their doors.

Grateful for the light, the fun, the tears, the vibes, the quiet glances. Wedding photography isn't just about capturing images — it's about witnessing love, and family, and memories. Here's to a summer I'll never forget!!!
