I've been a bit quiet on here lately, I'll blame my Mum! I was lucky enough to have her here for a whole month (never long enough) After a hastily re-scheduled trip to avoid her original route through Dubai the rest of her trip was bliss. I realise it's a rare and beautiful thing to have such a close relationship with your Mum, and I feel very lucky. But then I start to question why I chose to live so far away from my family. I love my life here in Nelson, but sometimes the world feels very big.

She's such a wee legend, up for (almost) anything, loves talking to new people, and I even got her to the Mussel fest watching Shapeshifter and to the Playhouse to watch My Baby! 😎
