"Like a precious fragrant flower I brought proudly into my home but then failed to water, I left her alone in countless ways to wither in the dry hot heat of our intimate relationship."

Your loved one deserves to be enthusiastically chosen. Every day.
You do, too.

Day after the The People's Climate Rally 2017, Tangata Whenua, Pacific Panthers and others met at Ngamotu for the Poroporoaki.
Tears also fell & time taken to acknowledge the very recent passing of Teresia Teaiwa.
Much love to all who loved her, and the work she did.
Arohamai to all who missed it

It's such a stereotype that those fighting for change are not aware oil is in EVERYTHING! And that's one of the main problems.. it's pushed for our "convenience " but really it's for "their" wealth.. those who own it, truly profit from it. Now the workers and families who are on the ground doing the hard work with the oil companies etc they are not at fault.. and they are not becoming filthy rich either. They are working their asses off to provide for their Whanau.
We have been raised in a society so removed from nature, and now created around money.. that it blinds us to the fact we are killing ourselves and everything around us.. all for the 1% wealth, and our struggle to survive in a society run by commercialism and capitalism.
We are lost, we are dying.. and killing everything.
We are fighting for our LIVES, our babies lives and all after us. We are fighting for our animal and mammal relatives, for this planet that is our source of life itself.
We are doing it for change!

no one lights a lamp in order to hide it behind the door: the purpose of light is to create more light, to open people's eyes, to reveal the marvels around. No one sacrifices the most important thing she possesses: love.
