Chasing the light is my job, but sessions like this remind us that the real magic is always the people in front of the lens. Family shoots are a very specific, beautiful kind of chaos—getting everyone in the frame, brushing hair out of faces, and trying to beat the setting sun. But then you get that one split second where everyone just relaxes into each other, the guard drops, and it all works out.

I always come away from maternity sessions feeling so grateful. It's such a privilege to be invited into a chapter that's so important. Before long, this bump will be tiny kicks turned into tiny fingers wrapped around Mom and Dad's hand.
