AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST... PART Three

Green Footed Kiwi became a homeschool project, science experiment, business, lifestyle, family adventure and so much more.

Most of all, it showed us what can happen when kids are given a little time, trust, and freedom to explore what they love.

And honestly?

We couldn't have done any of it without the endless support and advice that people have given us❤️

PART TWO: WHEN THINGS GOT OUT OF CONTROL

What started as flowers slowly became something much bigger. Like, much bigger.

When a mentor believed in us, we became slightly flower obsessed and somehow ended up growing thousands of unique dahlias.

But the biggest surprise?

The flowers started opening other doors…

Part three tomorrow!

HOW DID IT ALL START?

What was meant to be a little homeschool project accidentally turned into something much bigger…

We called it Green Footed Kiwi.

Now... it's getting even bigger...

✨ BIG CHANGES + A BIG DREAM ✨

Hi everyone! Gracie here 😊

Lately we’ve been doing a LOT of sorting, organising, unpacking, and Mum says making a giant mess 😂

As some of you might know, we’re bringing all of our family projects together under one big brand... Moa Gardens 🌿🦋

That means Gracie-Mae Photography and The Stripey Caterpillar products will soon need be rebranded to Moa Gardens.

But before we fully rebrand everything… we realised we have SO much stock to sort through!

So we’re planning a big sale to clear out older stock before everything gets refreshed and rebranded 🎉 There will be photography prints, art, mugs, cards, gifts and other treasures at special prices.

There’s another reason this sale means a lot to us too ❤️

In October, me and my sisters are hoping to travel to South Korea to take our Taekwondo Black Belt tests. It's all a bit unreal at the moment, but if we can raise enough money it might actually happen!

It’s a huge opportunity for us, not just for Taekwondo, but also to experience a different culture and learn new things. Milly was actually born in South Korea so it is extra important for her to make this trip!

So every purchase helps support our family business, our rebrand into Moa Gardens, and three very determined girls chasing a pretty big dream 😊

If you’d like to support us (or grab a bargain!), keep an eye out... sale details coming soon 👀

And if you know someone who loves photography, flowers, butterflies, art, gifts, or supporting hardworking youth doing cool things, we’d LOVE it if you shared this and pointed them in our direction 💛

After our first month living in Oamaru, these are our favourite things!

1. Penguins. So cute 🥰
2. Bookarama. We went twice. The biggest book sale ever!
3. Ice in the dog's bowl. Bumblebee wasn't impressed, but we had heaps of fun!
4. Bacon butties at the Sunday Market. A must have! I have never seen so much bacon in some bread...ever!
5. Kakanui ice creams! Boysenberry ambrosia comes highly recommended. I'm not sure about the licorice flavoured ice cream. Sounds a bit dodge!

What have we missed and need to explore this month??

People often ask how the kids learn without school.

Well… today is a BIG maths day 🌿📏😅

🌸How many dahlias can we fit?
🦋How far apart should the rows be?
🌿How many plants do we actually have?
🐝What happens if we plant them in circles instead?
💚And most importantly…

Is there such a thing as TOO many dahlias?

Welcome to homeschool at Moa Gardens.

We've had a lot of messages asking about our plans for the old 'Old Bones' Backpackers.

Here's a little update.

Please follow our journey and tell all your friends.

This is going to be a fantastic youth-led adventure!

And those who remember Green Footed Kiwi will know!😃
