Both from NZ, now living and working in Australia — but they came home to celebrate with their closest people. A small, intimate day with immediate family.

Before the ceremony, Leah’s dad came over to say hi and introduced himself.
I asked him, “Do you want Leah to move back to NZ so she can be closer to you?”

He paused for a second and said,
“No… New Zealand is too cold. Let her stay somewhere warmer.” 😂

So excited to be back at Kumeu Valley Estate to photograph Ting & Felix’s garden wedding.

Kristen and Matthew tied the knot back in 2020, and I still remember their day so vividly.
Not because we were in the middle of Covid lockdowns and restrictions…
but because of how they chose to get married.

An intimate ceremony by Karekare waterfall, just the two of them, their parents, and their little boy — it made everything feel extra meaningful and full of heart.
Still one of the sweetest, most grounded wedding days I’ve ever been part of.
