Work in progress for Ākonga Zacharaiah Mokomoko

Hand illustration plays a crucial role in Zach’s design. Producing concept sketches as art prints sharing the creative journey of his body of work project. The project itself confronts conventional notions of gender and identity using colour and silhouette in the hopes of sparking discourse, re-evaluating unspoken norms and fostering questions and debate.

Work in progress for akonga Maz Farquhar

Maz’s merchandise reflects her body of work by embodying themes from typeface design. The lanyard, a functional product, displays typeface's blend of geometric elements, influenced by Bauhaus and modern art. This hybrid typeface merges classical didone conventions incorporating contrasting line weights, resulting in a reductionist, geometric aesthetic.
