I thoroughly enjoyed getting a little more abstract with this mini photography session. High contrast black & white to highlight the unique geometry, shadows and reflections on offer.

10 points if you know where this local Kapiti spot is! 👍📷

Was a priveledge to photograph the KCU U11 girls team, who my daughter plays for, representing at the Kapiti Coast United FC Easter Tournament.

They got 2nd in their division, only beat out by Petone...next time!

Album #2 of my shots from the 2026 Kapiti Woman's Triathlon event held Sunday, see prior album #1 for more.

If you see someone you know feel free to share and tag them in!

A big thanks to Angela Buswell from Harcourts Real Estate for reaching out wanting me to photograph at the Harcourts Photo Tent. They were one of the sponsors for this event and even had some of their own crew participate, great job!

Congratulations to all participants and a hugely successful event by all accounts!

Just picked up this little beauty!

It’s an old FED-2 Style D film camera made in Kharkiv, Ukraine in 1966. I’ve got 3 roles of film to test it that have been hanging around for 15-20 years so happy to finally put them to good use!

If the camera turns out not to work 100% it will still make very cool shelf candy…wish me luck!

My goal for 2026 was to focus on creating some quality pieces of Wall Art Photography.

So here’s my first shot taken a week ago for this collection. “The Lonely Willow” in classic black & white.

I’ll be doing a limited run of prints so let me know if you would like one of these beauties for your wall!

In 2025 my photography goal was just to get out there, taking opportunities whenever they arise, see what the world serves up to me at any given time, no real plan, no rules - but always something new to learn. I think I managed to do that.

For 2026 I want to delve deeper into natural composition, abstract & minimalism. To create images that are intriguing, interesting and worthy as printed wall art - and to print them!

Here are some images I've taken over the last year which inspired me to build on this idea in one way or another for 2026!
