Frames of Reference – Prashant Mohgaonkar
Born and brought up in Agra, northern India, I studied Engineering at Bombay, specializing as an Air-conditioning Engineer way back in the late 90s. And with diverse interests in almost everything, I must admit, photography was not on my list of priorities. It was only to flourish later wrapped in the nascent desire of chasing light, punctuated by shadows
, from dawn to dusk, where photography got the better of me! That said, I started toying with the idea of light and shade, and got into photography from purely an artist’s perspective. I am a photographer with views on photography my own – photography is my way of capturing the fleeting moments of an amazingly enigmatic life around us, almost on a moment to moment basis. Here’s a small presentation of some of the most mesmerizing frames, composed entirely from the perspective of an artist.
